Experienced Sales Director

Positions are currently available in the South East Region, South Central Region, South West Region, North West Region, Mid West Region, West Region (2).Job Summary: Accel’s Enterprise Sales Director position calls for a U.S.-based direct sales “Hunter” responsible for bringing in new enterprise business clients in their respective region. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who couples strategically oriented solutions sales skills with an understanding of RF, Convergence, Data Networking, Security and Managed Network Services. The Sales Director also possesses the ability to effectively present and sell Accel networks services to prospective clients. The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in a networking, software, security, or network services business space.


  • Lead qualification, customer needs assessment, and closing of identified opportunities
  • Maintain a strong sales funnel with multiple opportunities throughout the sales cycle each month
  • Establish and maintain a working knowledge of current and new products and services across the Accel Networks product spectrum, keeping up-to-date with new features and releases
  • Work directly with prospects and partners on referred leads from the channel partner program achieving a high close rate
  • Accurately forecast opportunities and log activities on a daily basis in the aggregate Accel sales funnel using
  • Meet target activity levels for calls, meetings, quotes and new opportunities added to the sales funnel each month
  • Close sales at and above assigned quotas and goals
  • Proven, consistent, sales performance in the distributed enterprise data solutions field
  • Deep knowledge of data communications, networking, IP telephony, business solution applications, market related compliance and security, and competitive knowledge from an industry wide perspective
  • Highly effective cold calling, presentation and closing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a compelling and professional sales presence
  • Proven ability to work effectively and successfully from a home office environment within a distributed sales environment
  • Proven track record of uncompromising ethics and integrity
  • BA/BS required, business or related field preferred
  • 7+ years of successful data/security/solution sales experience

Experienced Project Manager

Job Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, and directing customer deployments and pilots. The Project Manager must be able to lead multiple projects in varying levels of difficulty. The Project Manager will oversee various work groups ensuring delivery of services and projects on time and accurately.


  • Lead the documentation, scheduling, and implementation of customer Pilots and installations
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and within client expectations for quality and functionality
  • Manage client acceptance of the solution and manage client expectations in line with the agreed statement of work
  • Manage day-to-day relationship with client stakeholders and resolution of all issues associated with installations or Pilots
  • Maintain and communicate project status to all stakeholders in reports and status meetings
  • Ensure projects are properly set up in billing, monitoring, and asset tracking systems
  • Degree in Business Administration and or Business Information Systems or 5 + years of equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience required
  • Must have excellent customer skills

Tech Support

Activations Engineer

Job Summary: The Activations Engineer is responsible for configuring equipment, directing field service activity, and activating services within the Accel Service Delivery department. The candidate must be able to diagnose, interpret, and resolve issues to ensure accurate and timely installation of service.


  • Maintain a thorough understanding of RF, IP, and VoIP services
  • Configure and setup routers, modems, and optimize wireless antenna
  • Direct field services through proper installation of hardware using pre-defined specifications
  • Collaborate with other organizations on best practices
  • Occasional on-site customer installations as needed
  • Ensure proper documentation of all installed components
  • Assist in upgrades to CPE equipment as needed
  • Perform adds, changes, and disconnects for existing customer base
  • Escalate troubles to vendors/service providers when appropriate
  • Candidate must be located in Atlanta or surrounding area
  • Have excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as part of the service delivery team, managing a variety of projects simultaneously
  • 5+ years of wireless networking, data service, or VoIP activations

Tier 3 Support Technician

Job Summary: The Tier 3 Technician is responsible for monitoring, and supporting our most complex issues not easily resolved by our Help Desk. The candidate must be able to diagnose, interpret, and resolve issues which most have been escalated by customer or Help Desk and are urgent in nature.


  • Research and resolve “Open” Tier I and Tier II customer service tickets escalated by our call center
  • Research and resolution will require both written and verbal communication with our customers as well as our Call Center, Fulfillment, Sales, and Account Management departments
  • Position will require working with and escalating issue to our upstream carriers for resolution
  • Ability to clearly articulate issues and recommendations to Sr Management, Customers, and Sr. Management with our providers
  • Collaboration with other internal departments and Help Desk to continue ongoing improvements to customer satisfaction
  • Accurate and timely entry of information related to resolution or billing elements associated with service requests
  • Provide an escalation path to our customers for final resolution of complex issues
  • 5+ years of Data Network Operations Center experience
  • Familiar with standard operating procedures in a NOC environment
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotation with other department members
  • Experience in Broadband Wireless and VoIP a significant advantage
