Erin Kappiris, VP Finance

Prior to joining Accel, Ms. Kappiris was Chief Financial Officer of a private high school from 2006 to 2009. Between 1999 through 2006, Ms. Kappiris held a number of senior Product Management positions in early stage technology companies including; Head of Portal Operations at Cybear, responsible for integrating the Physicians’ Online, POL, acquisition, and the first web based physician desktop. During her tenure at Cybear, she managed online and telemarketing sales to physician offices for Andrx, growing the revenue to $20m annually. From 2003 to 2005, Ms. Kappiris held the position of Vice President at ICOM Group and was responsible for developing business opportunities to leverage ICOM’s investments in web development, telecom and call center capabilities. Ms. Kappiris developed QOLA, a multi-state physician network for local approval of online prescribing, and Fidelity Health, a discount health plan access program. Ms. Kappiris spent the prior 12 years in financial management of free-standing and hospital-based home care agencies, including 9 years in executive operations positions, including President of Visiting Nurses Tampa Bay and SVP Operations for Care One, a $300 million Medicare provider.
